So, as most of you who are reading this know, I am now studying abroad in London! Woo-hoo!! If you are reading this now and you didn't know that then you are obviously one of my slower friends, or you need to get a life of your own and stop wasting your time reading other people's blogs! Please ignore my previous posts as they were only put on this site for a class that I took my freshmen year.
Anyway, today was my first day in London. We landed at the foggy London airport around 6:30 this morning, and we really haven't stopped moving since then. I think tonight will be the first night since I was ten that I will go to be at 9:00! I don't have too much to say tonight, since I am jet-lagged and have had no time to have any great adventures. (Well, there was this strange man on the street who offered to dye my hair for free so that I could model for him, but that was more weird than adventurous.)
I suppose that I can offer you, my friends and family, the gist of what is going on in my world: my room is tiny but likable, my Spiderman blanket was a must-have, London has pizza, the group that is travelling with me is awesome, the country here is beautiful, the rural areas remind me of home because they are full of fields with horses, the roads are confusing, I'm glad I don't have to drive, and as always, Samford internet is awful. I am actually having to write this blog via Victoria's computer (I love you Victoria!) because the wireless here won't recognize my computer.
I do apologize for the sheer boredom you must have felt reading this post, and I promise that my posts will become more interesting. Please realize that I have only been here for a day (not even a whole day at that) and I haven't gotten to see much of the country yet (I don’t suppose you care to hear grocery store details).Good night all,KaylaBy the way, Rebecca got me the Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog soundtrack and I love it!!
